"Rams Horn" Brammo headers
"Rams Horn" Brammo headers
In Mr. Woolery's video, I saw some cool stainless "ram's horn" style headers. I had never seen these before.
Does anyone have a photo of these on their car?

That ram horn style is standard with everything from unpolished stainless to ceramic coated, right?

That's right. (Although I think polished is the only way to go.)
Here's mine during assembly:

Don't forget they're hidden behind the silencer...

Bruce: too bad...... they are much more attractive than that ugly muffler!
Re: "Rams Horn" Brammo headers
Guess you could always replace the muffler and cat with a straight pipe. That would clean it up a little. ![Grin ;D](./images/smilies/grin.gif)

Re: "Rams Horn" Brammo headers
How about a see-through muffler? Made of plexiglass or something that won't melt...
Transparent aluminum anyone?

Re: "Rams Horn" Brammo headers
For those who like noise, how about removing the cat & muffler, and replacing it with a "stinger" exhaust (straight tip that just angles straight back)?

my '65 427 shelby cobra has ceramic coated headers, no muffler, and I just love waking up the neighborhood
