Re: CARBON WINGS for sale.
regarding your wings for the atom.you say you are designing new ones for the atom , as the ones ariel atom sell are not up to the job on a track, can you post pictures of the one you are designing,as there are other atom drivers looking elsewhere for new wings, and if yours are at the right price , you might have more atoms with your wings on them , send your details regarding your wings ,looking forward to seeing them and the overall spc ,all the best jon

I am interested also. I like to have some wings for track days and do like look of them. But if it's just for looks I am not interested. I bought my new AA3 K24 last October and plan to do many track days in 2014. But here in Michigan I only had 3 track days last October before winter and did not like being on the long high speed straights. Atom felt like it was not planted and front almost lifting on bump on long straight at Mid Ohio. I think some down force would make me feel more comfortable even if I lose some top end speed.

Hi,
I've done well over 60 trackdays in my AA 3/300 - with (accurate GPS) speeds regularly exceeding 140 mph, and I can say from experience, whilst you do have to concentrate at high speed... here's a little vid with the 'evidence' (on the long straight at Spa doing 145mph) the Atom won't (easily) get airborne... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr8p7xpKVG8
It is after all the "aerodynamics" of the Atom that make it such great fun - because it hasn't got any.
Cheers,
