Excellent.  Driving in a molecule is good fun.

Not the first molecule in Italy, I have been with a several others in 2008 and 2010.

So, we can repeat that, maybe next year!

It's possible. I will almost certainly take the Atom to South East Switzerland - around Chur - in late June early July so perhaps we can meet up.

Yes!
Chur should be not so far from the Stelvio pass ... one place when I want to drive my Atom  :vroom:
Let me know the exact date, so I can try to arrange with the work.

Or even this year!

We're coming to the Alps in late August... Perfect time to meet up and do some passes.

The last week of August I will be in Italy.
Unfortunately I can spend only the weekends for the Atom, after 3 weeks of vacation  :P

The Stelvio is IMHO a much overrated driving experience and in June and especially July it will be chock a block. Many oter better roads around.

Can you give me any suggestions about the better roads, please?
I don't know the roads there.
Usually I go on the hills around Bologna and on the Futa-Raticosa road (full of motorbikes).

There are many lovely passes including the Furka/Stusen/Grimsel triangle, but the most important thing of all is to get the timing right. First thing in the morning, and last thing before dusk, the roads are MUCH clearer. That's because families with camper vans are too busy getting their kids out of bed in the morning, and cyclists are not happy about being on the mountains at night

This link will give you a report on all the passes I've ridden on a motorbike:

Hope that helps.
