Atomic Mass Sunday 20th Sept Drive & Lunch

Hi All,

I am sure this will be one of the last requests for a list regarding this event so here we go.

It is proposed to have a drive out on the Sunday 20th after breakfast leaving the hotel and making for Sunday Lunch.
The venue is,

Witney Lakes Resort.
Downs Road.
Witney
Oxfordshire
OX29 0SY

The route is being topped and tailed. Due to the anticipated number, the restaurant need numbers and menu choices, I should have menu later today. Cost will be under £20 for two courses. When I get confirmation of price etc it will be money to Tom via usual methods.

I have had to book rough number at this stage as if we are 40 we would never get seated without a reservation. Plus this venue is set in its own grounds so parking won't be an issue.

As with any event we do its fingers crossed for fair weather as financially the club / individuals will be committed. If it were to rain we would just head straight for venue or lose £20.

Then after lunch, a loop through the Cotswolds, a coffee stop if time allows and back to Stanton Manor.

Roast Loin of Oxfordshire Pork, crackling, apple, sage and cider sauce

Roast Oxfordshire Beef, with Yorkshire Pudding

Pan fried Sea Bream fillet, creamed spinach and roasted peppers

Caramelised shallot and goat’s cheese tart tatin

Hazelnut and vanilla cheesecake with blackberry compote

Warm chocolate fondant with caramel ice cream

3 British cheeses, celery, grapes and crackers


£19 per person

Witney lakes are asking for menu choices , email to Tom will do the trick.

Restaurant are asking for a deposit by the 07.08 so can people get a payment to Tom ASAP.

I know this is a ball ache but should help the weekend as a whole go smoothly.

Like I have said I have gone for 40 people but it doesn't matter if it rises, they can cater for more but the sooner we get the number to them the better.
