My insurance company are asking me who the organiser is of this track day before they will confirm cover.

Hard question to answer but is the track insurance worth it? Obviously is if you crash it is so I suppose what I'm asking is how many people use it?

Hi guys,

Did a search but did not come up with any info. Track day insurance cover?

First 2 years of ownership was with CCI/Aviva which included track day cover.

Now with Adrain Flux who do not cover track days.
Any advice for the Castle Combe day?

Problem is the insurer asks who the official track day organiser is and I'm not sure if there is one in this case?

Does this mean most owners are not covered for a track day now then?
If this is the case then no worries. When in Rome.. . Same risks as driving the Nurburgring, in effect.
I know the recommended insurers eg. Lloyd White did not offer it either when I got a quote for this year.
Who would specialise in cover for just a single day? I read some quotes on here which were very expensive.

Usually the cover is based on the marshalling system in place which is normally done by the track. I am sure we will be able to get cover for this as I expect we are using the Castle Combe marshals. Julian, can you confirm this?

Adrian Flux does offer track day cover (by the day and only for the driver on the main policy)

Ok. If they do cover a "day" of track work will call them for a quote. Hopefully it is reasonable.

Tom made the booking with Castle Combe. There will be a track Day Organiser.

I haven't responded because I don't know the answer and was waiting for our leader to come back from his holidays.

I am sure it can wait until the 25th Aug when he returns.
