Atomic Mass Merchandise

Post by julian » Wed Apr 29, 2015 8:36 am

Hi everyone,

As part of the Atomic Mass celebrations it is proposed to design some merchandise,

Golf Umbrella
Key ring
Lanyard
Mug
T shirt
Cap
etc

Would anyone be interested, I can't give you an accurate price as there are minimum order numbers, more you order then the price reduces.
The club would like to sell them as a package at cost price. The above would come to about £40 but perhaps this is a bit steep so we could remove certain items and pitch the package at about £30. To sell items individually becomes a bit messy.
If I could have your thoughts and perhaps a list so I can gauge if this is a goer or not.
Steve Gibson will do the design.
I hope that is enough information for now.

Regards

Julian
Appreciate this is under events but I wanted to keep it close to the main thread. Thanks

If it's not too garish, or green, I'd be up for it.

In terms of price, if you bundle all the items you listed, for £40, I don't think it sounds too bad at all.

I think we should keep the merchandise pack smallish. This will help raise the quality of each item. If we try to do lots of things for a fixed price the quality of each item will suffer.

Can't reveal it yet, but I have a fiendish idea for the designs.

Umbrella, lanyard, keyring and t-shirt would be a good package surely? It it's a decent brolly then I'm sure people would be happy to pay a reasonable price. I'd happily buy an umbrella on it's own to be honest.

Like I said Alex, it gets messy if you want individual items ie umbrella and someone else wants a mug. Regarding quality of brolley, I have gone for the most expensive because of this issue, it's still not going to be Ping mind.

Minimum numbers is the issue, some items are 25 others 50 and rising, so see if we get enough interest.

Cheers

Quite happy with that Julian, was merely commenting that it's worth paying up for a decent brolly in itself. I'm more than prepared to buy a pack. Count me in...

Lanyard, mug and t-shirt sound ideal to me. Plus umbrella - a must have.
I'm surprised neither Ariel nor the club have produced a golf brolly yet (or as I like to call it, a 'paddock umbrella').
Would have come in handy on any/all of our European trips.  ;D

Might I also suggest some velcro straps as standard to strap it to the frame? Have done this in my T5 and it's awesome!

At least it's a bloody big field to do some donuts in the nomad! Cool, wasn't sure if it will have been completed by then.
