Atomic Mass Saturday 19th Sept - Monday 21st Sept 2015
Atomic Mass Saturday 19th Sept - Monday 21st Sept 2015
This is it gents, the event you have all been waiting for, the celebration of ten years of the Ariel Atom Owners' Club, set up by Bruce and Ross in 2005. It's not all confirmed yet but we are nearly there and want to give everyone a 'heads-up' – so that you can put the dates in your diary. We need to know attendee numbers to calculate precise costs as soon as possible.
The event name is:
ATOMIC MASS
10 Years of Atom Club
We will have some factory support as detailed below.
Using 2010's Atom X as our inspiration, Atomic Mass will be similar in some ways, but with lots of new cars and club members! Over three days, the event will be a mixture of a social gathering, a road rally in some beautiful countryside, and then an Atom-only track day at Castle Combe with factory support. We would like as many members as possible to attend.
In order to get a firm idea of numbers, we would ask members to commit to the track day by paying £149 upfront to cover the cost of track day hire. The track day is subsidised by Atom Club, which is why it's so well priced. This fee would be non-refundable.
The itinerary (subject to tweaking):
Saturday 19th Sept
9.30am: Meet at Ariel Motor Works. Tea, coffee and chin wag.
11am: Departure for a short drive to Haynes International Motor Museum.
http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/
2pm: Lunch at Haynes' new cafe.
3pm: Departure for Stanton Manor Hotel in Wiltshire.
http://www.stantonmanor.co.uk/
5pm: Arrive at hotel (6 miles from Castle Combe Race Circuit)
7.30 for 8pm: Club dinner
The hotel is set in its own very pretty grounds, with lots of private parking. We already have all 23 rooms reserved for Saturday AND Sunday night – sold to members on a 'first come first served' basis. If we fill this hotel, there are numerous alternatives to suit budgets in the area. Try the Castle Combe website for further accommodation:
http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/contact/accomodation.asp
Sunday 20th Sept
8-9.30am: Breakfast buffet
10.30am: Departure for days drive
1pm: Lunch at Witney Lakes Resort
3pm: Depart Witney Lakes to return to hotel
7.30pm: Evening BBQ
Monday 21st
6.30-7.30am: Breakfast at hotel
8.30am: Track day at Castle Combe race circuit, with factory support
Two instructors will be available for personal tuition. We are considering leaving the tuition schedule open (you ask and pay on the day) or building a booked hourly schedule (you book a slot and pay upfront), based on the demand that is shown.
5pm: Depart for home
Please indicate your interest for the Saturday, Sunday or Monday events below. If you know that you really can't miss this, we advise you to book your room at Stanton Manor before they all go.
Thanks, everyone!

First Atomised 2001.
Atom (165) > Atom 2 (220) > Atom 3 (300) > Atom 3.5 (310) > Atom 4 (350).
There is no cure.

Really want to make this, but as it stands I'm working 2 of the 3 days. I feel a sickie coming on.

Rob it's 8 months away - surely there's some scope in your profession for swapping shifts with a colleague?
