Quaife LSD - difference between FWD/RWD options?

Evening guys,

Just a quick one, I have been keeping an eye out for an LSD, but notice CPL list 2 options on the K20, a front and rear wheel drive option.Would I be an idiot to find a used K20 diff that’s going to be FWD?

I think so Here's a response from CPL themselves on the subject

For info the RWD version of the Quaife diff is internally different in construction to the FWD version.

It was found that using the FWD version in a RWD (Atom, Lotus ect) application was too agressive hence the changes.
