Sticking gas wire

My 11 years young AA2 has done 30000 km and the gasswire is sticking, a lot. A problem in slow moving traffic, it probably looks kind of aggressive when carefully moving(jumping) in slow ques.
Any advice on options is appreciated, for instance may it be lubricated without removal.. or better removing it first? Or is lubricating a lost case, better just get a new from the factory at once.. or?

It may be your throttle cable, in which case some lube at both ends will help and can be done without removing. However, it could be that your throttle body needs cleaning. Mine was very dirty inside the housing (similar mileage to yours) and was stopping the butterfly closing properly.

Thanks, good advice, I’ll check/clean the throttle body and lubricate cable ends.
