LSD

Back when I ordered my Atom, I opted for the LSD.

I recently had an MOT, and with the rear jacked up, the tester rotated one of the rear wheels, and noted that the other turned the opposite way.  He asked if it had an LSD, and suggested that perhaps it didn't, as they'd both turn the same way if it did.

I'd easily bet he's got far far more experience than me.  but thought this a tad odd.

My question is, from the above, does it sound like I don't have an LSD as I should do?  Or is the "does it doesn't it" far more complex than the above?

Don't fret Phil !
You have a torque sensitive LSD and lifting both wheels off the ground isn't a valid test for this technology.

Do a search on here for LSD and check Lee Haw's similar query.

Hey Phil. Pull out of a tight junction and nail it. That'll tell you  ;D

You can't bias torque if there's none at either wheel  ;)
