AA2 300 fuel pump?

The fuel pump in my 2006 AA2 300 has to be replaced. Obviously it is a Rover Pump that is currently out of stock. A Member here has recommended a Walbro competition 255l p/h ITP241. Can anybody confirm that it will fit, or has other suggestions??

These people are not cheap but may come in handy - I would call them. The fuel pump IF MG/Rover will have a rover part number then you can go anywhere that has one I suppose - unless The factory modify it in some way to fit the Atom.

Hi Tobi, not done a pump swap myself but a couple of possibly useful links below. First is a thread on here re fuel pump part numbers and second is a part finder that suggests the MG pump is still available elsewhere

unless you are going to up the power i wouldn't bother with the hassle of going 255, ive had a few problems after fitting the 255 but its all resolved now.

Original pump is good for 350. I had no choice but to change it

I replace my pump in my AA2. I take a Walbro intank 450L. In the picture the hoses is not fitted.

you will find that hose will keep coming off, been there and done it.

i cant supply my engine with enough fuel unless its 3/4 full, so i will prob go down this route.

Okay, but nothing has happened with the hose last past year.
