What are the rubber sleeves called in this picture ?
They have split and need replacing. Where can I buy them and are they easy to replace ?

Re: What are they called ?
Hi Andy,
They're called bellows and I had the same problem. From honda they're not sold separately from the cable. Looked around and couldn't find a complete replacement but what I did find has worked out well.
I purchased these bellows from CBS http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/rubber-cable-cover-bellow with a view to just replacing the concertina section.
Removing the stock bellow is just a case of removing the R clip, sliding the hex bar off the shifter assembly, removing hex bar and lock nut. Bellow will then pull off.
I cut the honda bellow off at the narrow point after the first pleat and disgarded the concertina. I then pushed/pulled the new bellow through the old narrower end first. Trimmed the excess off the new bellow and refitted to cable.
Also replaced the hex bars on mine with rod ends but that's another story
p.s. measure position of lock nut before removing

Re: What are they called ?
Whilst looking into the provenance of the other end of the gear cables I happened on these

The gear stick end of my setup looks remarkably like that out of an MGF TF so suspect they're MGF TF cables and the gaiters / bellows above will fit

Re: What are they called ?
The Atom was first released with the K series engine and gearbox setup as found in the Elise so I am sure they will be the ones, a legacy item that "Aint Broke" Bit like the MRFU and some other bits from MG Rover...
I am happy to say the wiring on the Atom seems to be far more robust than that of my Caterham 7 .......
