This does have the minor problem of super heating the exhaust:
It's melted my new paint, rear lights oh and all the wiring/plastic around the injectors. Damn.
So as I'm racing this weekend and it will only get hotter under race conditions we needed a quick fix......
Hence my new heat wrapped manifold and 'ghetto' exhaust:
In China you have to make do with what you have and can get hold of. Motor bike exhausts are plentiful and there's every chance the unburnt fuel will ignite so I might have flames, every cloud.
I'm having a new one designed but then need to start the fun of finding someone to manufacturer it.
Bit of luck I wear ear plugs in the car anyway I pity the people behind me this weekend. Also lucky the noise regulations are quite as rigorous as the UK's
