SPA Design Dash System
I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on the SPA Dash System, as I have read up a little on this and it appears there are features that some owners may not be aware of. This may have been discussed already on the old forum, but would be good to get the information here too.
Things I thought might be of interest:
Has anyone found a link to the manual for the dash?
It says on their site (http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/index.htm) that the dash has a peak recall function, that I guess would show the peaks for all recorded data in that session. It doesn't say how to pull this information up though.
I am also interested in the external shift light option. Having done Santa Pod this w/e, it is now more obvious to me why you might want this. I would guess it would be cheaper to get this direct from SPA, rather than going back to Ariel. As discussed in another thread, the tacho needle changes colour at defined RPM (which can be customised), but this is not easy to see in the day light. Without the manual, I also don't know how easy it is to customise the RPM levels.
Finally, I under you can also adjust the brightness on the dials and LCD, but again don't know how to do this.
In summary a thread for any tips and tricks for the newer dash.

Re: SPA Design Dash System
The full guide to the dash will be in the forthcoming manual (out before Xmas!)
However, it's currently available to club members through the atomclub site under 'guides'...
N.B. This is for the previous model. But most of the principles will still apply...
