what are these pressure sensors?

Happy New Year everybody,

Does anyone know what the two pressure sensors measure that are apparently fitted according to the pin out diagram for the SPA dash (the "old" analogue dials, not the snazzy digital dash on the Atom 3.5)?



I want to fit a brake pressure sensor as part of a data logging set up. I'm 99.9% sure there isn't already one fitted, but seeing those sensors on the SPA diagram has got me curious!

That diagrams wrong. Pins 3 and 4 aren't connected to anything on the Atom.

As far as I know the SPA dash isn't connected to any pressure sensors (except oil warning). The connected sensors are for either temperature or pulses.

The SPA dash offers the ability to monitor 2 pressure channels and set alarms for those readings but as Hamid says they are not utilised in the Atom application.

Typical uses might be to monitor and alarm on low oil pressure and do the same for over-boost on the other channel.

In the menu, you assign 2 letters for each channel - OP for Oil Pressure, BP for Boost Pressure (say).
If these alarms triggered, the letters OP or BP would appear on the LCD Display and flash.
If both channel alarms were triggered, the higher channel will take priority.
