75% not going to this now as it is going to work out mega bucks on brakes and stuff if I have to go in the Civic. Anyone who is interested in taking my place, please pm me.
cheers

John,

I am pretty sure that you can use one of their cars, perhaps at a small premium?

Yep, at my sister's place in Silsoe.

Probably not what you want to know, sorry.

Still, it is now looking like it should be dry all day. I am looking forward to being more manly on the bowl than last time!

Edited as, in the last 10 minutes, the forecasts have decided it may rain, still what do they know?

Yes I must say, another fantastic day, there is a fair bit of hanging around, but when you are out you are getting great one on one training at, surely, the best venue in the country!

I think that everybody that attends learns a lot, they are a great team and you should all try to go next time.

I couldn't bring myself to go above 140 on the bowl, though a girl in a 350Z did 144 and a lad in a lairy Evo hit 155.

Food was very good, fresh, good sandwiches, lots of fresh strawberries, bananas, cherries, cakes, biscuits etc.

They really do get you pushing your car very hard in a completely safe environment; I think you leave with a lot of confidence in the car and yourself.

Just do it.

Agree with the above. If you get a chance to do this day grab it with both hands. The patient teaching method even helped this stupid student properly understand techniques which I'd previously been shown but not fully grasped.
Plus, the rain held off which is always a bonus and the drift Crate at the end of the day was an absolute hoot.

I have to say, I found the day at Millbrook in May was really helpful and I am alot more confident in the car now. I was alot quicker round Goodwood the other week too.

(Only 140 on the bowl is feeble though....)

There is something about steering hardish left with the armco 2ft away that focuses the mind. Very hard not to think of all the bits that are under stress at a constant 140. Easy in a straight lline, but still, you're right, feeble.

Hehe - its really really hard work focusing - I was wrecked after abt 4 laps - and you get so disorientated too. The armco being so close is scary and colin telling you not to look at it and look about 2 miles ahead is unnerving !!

When you've blown the engine maxed out at 150 on the bowl then you know what scary is !!
