Rolling Road Day

Post by Bruce Fielding » Fri Jan 06, 2006 11:11 am

As mentioned in another topic... whould anyone like to do a roilling road day - possibly with a BBQ? If so, any suggestions as to where? I know a place in Slough... that might be too far south, though.

The place I know and have used is in Bicester, which might be OK for people.

Most food at BBQs is burnt, but trying to cook in the passenger seat of an Atom whilst it's on a RR could be a bit difficult ;D  There's one off the M3 I was going to use him before I spun on the M25.  He is also very active on PH (which is where I found him) not sure if that is a bonus!

We could have a word on the tunnel run as I think he is going along.

I'd be up for this one too - Slug's not that far south, I'd be prepared to venture down there...

Any more suggestions?

Once we have a list we'll start a poll...

Oh, and this isn't advertising since you're not associated finacially with Vegantune (and I've already emailed Richard about the Workshop day, anyway!)

That would be quite good for me too as Angie often visits Hemel & her son in Brickett Wood.

i cant wait for them to get it, i think it may be very useful. they are converting the huge storage area thats behind/past the MOT bay into the rolling road area. that then will be everything thats needed under one roof.......cool!.
