South East England Chapter meet. 22 March 2008.

Post by John Lloyd » Fri Mar 21, 2008 10:51 am

I find myself without children tomorrow from about 1030/1100am.    I know the roads will be busy, but is anyone interested in meeting up for a drive along the coast and tea at the Hove bowling club.  Ben you at Crawley this weekend?

Not sure where most of you are, but it does seem to be east of Guildford so how about meeting at Box Hill car park (the one at the bottom by the roundabout off the A24) at noon and then off down the A24, A29 to Pulborough, then at the top of the Downs there is a car par where we can have coffee, then off down the A284 to Littlehampton and then along the coast road to Hove and Brighton.  Or when we could head West by continuing on the A29, down onto the A27 and then head to Chichester and the coast that way.  Or I do know some very narrow B roads which we could scare ourselves on!

Any takers?

It's glorious sunshine up here in Liverpool as well.  :tu:

I wonder if they're having the same weather in between us at Bedford.  :-\

Nope sorry, Crawley is coming here this weekend (just mother not all of it)  Would have loved to have re-visited Hove bowling club.  Enjoy the snow.

You were right.  I went out in glourious sunshine and drove into a hail storm that turned into a snow storm.  Wow!!  Do hail stones hurt your hands at 70mph and then the snow was so thick it actually collected on the visor  :o

I'm still game for tomorrow.
