Dotting some Is and crossing some Ts...

A selection of snaps from an amazing weekend away in the land of Daffodils and Dragons.

We enthralled the locals (most of them anyway); did some beachcombing; a wee bit of off-roading; caught some air over a bridge; tested a tunnel or two; fostered relationships with the local heddlu; avoided all livestock and left some black marks on the tarmac (and the occasional wet patch in the bushes) just to prove it.

And if you prefer your images moving with sound, here is a certain introvert trying to rack up their 14th ASBO...

Hopefully everyone enjoyed it. Special thanks to NigelS for making the trip from Northern Ireland (via Dublin!), mapes who joined us for an afternoon, IanG for handling routes and logistics and Richard F for lending his local knowledge across every A and B road Snowdonia has to offer.

I'm going to bed now. And have no intention of counting sheep...

Glad you all had a good time - I enjoyed the photos - I had a check around all the well known hotels in Brecon Friday morning but couldn't find anything that resembled an Ariel in the car park so my brother and I went off and did a mini tour of our own after goind up and down the A470 for a few miles in case we spotted you all - maybe next time eh,

Karl V wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 8:24 pm Yes Matt, sorry for the silence on here - discussion took a sharp left turn onto WhatsApp. Best place for the shite we've been sprouting IMO.

We are locked and loaded!

10 people. 7 cars. 4 days. 3 nations. 2 hotels. 1 return ferry trip. And a dragon stuffed in a winch... If anyone asks about the 5 gold rings, just deny all knowledge.

Rough plan hasn't changed:

Thur 10 - Travel through Brecon from M48
Fri 11 - Travel through Brecon to Snowdonia
Sat 12 and Sun 13 - tours of North Wales
Mon 14 - head home

@JoePembs - are we passing your way?
@Antong - you still away this coming weekend?

@IanG is the trip co-ordinator on this one - I am just the 'updater' (and have not been doing a very good job by all accounts, sorry Ian).
