Let’s hope the weather stays like that Karl, or gets better.

Morning, yes I'll get there early too Karl, look forward to meeting you.

Thanks Peter, yes I did know about the service mileage window I just don't want to put a whole chunk of miles on it so it then it has to sit there not moving. It was bad enough having lockdown coming one week after it been delivered and having to see it just sitting there with a trickle charger on it.

I feel your pain. Its no better when the car is just run in and as soon as the weather improves..... LOCKDOWN.

Hey ho. See you Sunday! :)

The weather forecast needs to change, or the start time needs to slip. :(

Thanks Sir Nick. I've checked in with BBC, AccuWeather, MetOffice, WeatherChannel, God, Allah and Buddah. Oh, and my mate Ted, who knows everything about everything...

They are all forecasting 50%+ chance of rain in Winchester early doors (about 10am) and tailing off from there. Which actually means a higher chance of rain getting to the start (which I know is an hour or 2 trek for some).

Quick poll... if the forecast doesn't change from what we see today, would folk prefer:

a) A run later in the day
b) Try again next weekend

From what I've heard, it's a front that will give rain or showers between about 7-10am. I would say - let's get on with it, but make it a couple of hours later.

Im actually going to struggle this weekend now i'm afraid. Next weekend would be preferable - and weather much much better tbh.

if it goes ahead anyway i will try and make at some stage.

After driving for nearly 2 hours to Brands yesterday in the rain I am NOT coming out for "fun" in the rain. :(

If its wet lets re-schedule. :tu:

So what do we think weather watchers?

Chance of rain is higher early doors, so using Winchester, it currently looks like this:

I have some tyre ‘distress’, so a postponement would be good as a) it will give me time to change them and b) if I drive as is and it’s wet. I, or a hedge, will die.
And c) it’s Fathers Day and I can demand breakfast in bed!
