Just a heads up that Caffeine and Machine are now charging £5 on the gate to park and not yet redeemable inside. It's become very popular at the weekends and can be full by mid morning. It's been a welcome addition to the area but has fallen victim of it's own success with a high proportion of the wrong crowd causing local issues.

Sorry, I won't be joining you this time as mine is all prep'd for sale.

Well spotted stupot!

https://caffeineandmachine.com/parkingupdate/

Just a thought bodnet, GraemeW - is it worth meeting at Caffeine and Machine before setting off? Looks like some folk may have a 90 minute drive to get to the starting line from say Reigate or Bristol so I reckon C&M may be a 'friendlier' place for folk to gather before the off. Not that McDonald's is particularly unfriendly of course.

We could even end the tour there too if we can convince Management that we've already paid a fiver ;-)

Just a thought.

Anywho, I'd like to tag along if you have space for a lardy ass Nomad. I'll try not to hold people up along the way...

I'm definitely up for this but it's a bit route dependent. I didn't realise quite how far away C&M was (2.5hrs for me) so if it starts there and finishes there, I'm on for a long day along with a spirited drive in the middle!

I'll hang on in the wings and see how the route develops...
310=325! That'll be the Presidential Remap kicking in... :vroom:

I'm the same Alex. I'm down near Brighton so a bit of a journey. If anyone is doing M23/M25/M3 or A272 - happy to convoy early doors.

Chris.

Caffeine and Machine is a great place to end the trip I'd say. I'm happy to call ahead and make a block booking for all the cars. I'm sure they'd love to have us there as a group.

Those of us further south can meet up on the way to the rendezvous point once Andy/Ian/Bod publish the route. We can find some nice roads to that point, and can have a couple of rendezvous points ourselves. Probably Alex, Woodsypedia and Karl?

...and Peter255 and Kai, knowing you are south of the M4 as well?
