Late Summer Atom Adventure

Post by deepdurks » Sun Apr 23, 2017 4:37 pm

Hi all,

As discussed when we got together to celebrate the Julian's life, we are testing the water to see if anyone would be interested in a 'late summer adventure'.  As a starter for 10 we are looking at Sat 2 Sept to Sat 9 Sept, inclusive.
Initial thoughts would be the ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo, bit of a tour around the area and ferry back.

We are thinking a combination of driving (of course!), great food and a bit of wine (tasting maybe), combined with the company of good friends and a bit of a chill out.

Let us know what you think and we will get the ball rolling.

Hi Durks, great to see you getting this organised. I'd love to join but given I'm on the Portuguese trip, I would be divorced and living in my Atom if I tried this one too! Lol.

A weekender more likely for me though.

I say Admiral, spiffing idea!

They got some nice golf courses on that coast as well!

Hi,

We could run an option of starting on the Fri to allow some to do just a weekend/long weekend.  The plan would be to do a circuit that would never be too far to get back to St Malo.

Hi all, Given the support for 'Portugal 17' it was always going to be difficult to get viable numbers for this one, so, apologies to Sir Nick for having to do this but we're pulling stumps.

Next year promises to be a scorcher i'm told!! Watch this space and we'll pull something out of the hat!

Drive safe.

Hi Guys, I'm Portsmouth based so a long weekend " Abroad " would have been fun, so if anyone's interested in resurrecting the idea for early September I'd be interested.
