I could propose an alternative, rather than postpone? And out-of-London Hoon I've had in mind for a while...

Starting from somewhere in Winchester (approx 1 hour/70 miles from London), ending in Newbury (again, 1 hour/60 miles from London), and taking in the best of the roads that I know west of there... Route approx. like this http://goo.gl/maps/0orUQ - out by some amazing roads across Salisbury Plain, back along the A4 which is wide and flowing, plenty of overtaking opportunities... (detail at the western end to be fine-tuned by those with more detailed local knowledge, especially of good Sunday Lunch places!).

Anyone interested in that? I'd suggest meeting around 0830 (ie, you could set off from London at the time we were going to meet anyway  )
