Thanks Andrew that very generous of you.  It's a trailer I borrow from the golf club and if it went missing I would have to cough up!  £4k ouch!

First thing I must do is make sure I can borrow it on the 15th Sept.!  I'll get back to you mate...

Cheers

Nick

Might cost you a packet of Jammy dodgers biscuits though !

Okay, the 15th isn't far away now.

I've compiled a route of sorts based upon the previous 2011 raid route.
It should give us about 2 1/2 hours causing mass head turning etc in town with the aim to get to the Ace for around 10:30 ish for a well deserved breakfast.

Please DM me if you want the sat nav file stating whether you want Tom Tom or Garmin or just route info.

Judging by the interest I doubt we'll have any trouble keeping together

Uh oh...

Dear Mr Fielding,

I am writing to let you know that on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September travel in central London will be affected, when The World Triathlon Grand Final takes place.

On Saturday, a number of major roads including Hyde Park Corner, Park Lane and roads around St. James’s Park and Buckingham Palace will be closed in the morning.

On Sunday, the roads listed above as well as Whitehall, Southwark Bridge, Victoria Embankment and Lower and Upper Thames Street will be closed until the early afternoon. Road users are advised to avoid the area if possible. Buses in the area will be on diversion; local Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations will be suspended.

For full details, please visit tfl.gov.uk/worldtriathlon

It's a system of transferring weather information from the met office to the public.  But that's not important right now.

More seriously cloudy but dry

Re: 2013 Sunday Drivers London Dawn Raid - ***** POSTPONED *****

Post by Kezzie » Wed Sep 11, 2013 4:45 pm

We have to postpone this event due to some lycra clad fitness freaks requiring the roads in and around central London to be closed to vehicles on Sunday.

I will investigate if we can rearrange for the following Sunday 22nd September.

Apologies for the late notice of this postponement and will pass on any messages of disappointment to Transport for London ;D
