Just looking for an excuse to get out in it a bit earlier ...

April is good, just not the first week. 16th, 23rd and 30th are all clear for me at present...

Still happy for the meeting point to be at Waterloo and should be able to secure a large underground area to convene?

Not taking responsibility just yet (mostly because my trail-finding senses have been switched off forever). However, if no one else steps up I'll do it.

Whatever, I was chatting to Darren who runs Waterloo Classics yesterday and he has offered us spaces there whenever we like on the 3rd Saturday of any month. I think that this would be an excellent end point to the raid, but there are two problems. 1. It's on Saturday. 2. It starts at noon so we'd either have to start later or run longer.

Benefit: It's a nice central London location with loads of other interesting cars and nice places to eat (MUCH nicer than the Ace). Plus it's easy for other owners and enthusiasts to join us afterwards if they don't want to take part and spend the rest of the day in London.

Drawback: It's Saturday and later, so that means we'll be a bit more tied up in traffic, and it also means that it's not just a quick run out before the family gets going on a Sunday.

My feeling is that it's probably not an option, but I'm happy to go with the majority on this one.

By the way, if anyone just wants to go on their own or in a molecule, contact Darren (darren@waterlooclassics.com), tell him I sent you and he'll make sure there's space for you.
