Have a good time chaps. Shame I can't join you but I'll be doing Braintree to Crewkerne on Sunday for the car's pre season service.

Just to check on the final post code, the pub is SO42 7YR and not SO24 7YR??

Yes - SO42 7YR is correct.

What with the mixup with GMT & BST and now the Post Code, perhaps it's a Treasure Hunt !  :D

Hope the weather is as good as it was today - Enjoy!

Good spot re pub post code, correct post code is SO42 7YR. Phone number of Royal Oak is 01590 612228. I wasn't sure if it's 2 for lunch, (James) so if you want to call pub table is booked in my name. I will look out for everyone, so if you need the loo, cup of tea etc, so it doesn't matter if you are early.

Pub is apparently dog friendly so I will be bringing my boxer.

Regards

Julian

Hi All,

I had a great day, very good to meet you all. I am sorry that we got separated, it's often the way, traffic lights etc! I thought everyone had the route in their sat navs, we did wait at a couple of points on the way down but it turns out you were ahead of us in any event.

Anyway, very glad you came, if ever you organise one, say Cotswolds, I would love to come.

Regards

Julian & Jane

Morning All,

Great to meet up with some friendly faces and a pootle down to the coast.

Looking forward to a few more in the year; which reminds me, I do have some itn files for a Kent Run which is magnificent for twisties and overtaking Sunday drivers if started at 6.30-7am.

I may research it to check for potholes/speed bumps which may have appeared in the last year or so and report back.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in hooking up with my other car chums for noise and adventure, let me know and I'll keep you up to date.

Thanks again,
Donny

Looks like a great day out boys!

I would be indebted if someone fancies doing a little write up to put on the 'News' page of the club?  Doesn't need to be anything huge or deeply involved, just a little something.

Anyone fancy it?

Tom
