There’s no getting round it: cars are getting heavy. Like, really heavy. While we all love a good comfortable cruiser, there’s a whole lot to be said in favour of stripping away the mass and chasing lightness. Handling, acceleration, ride, fuel economy – all can be improved by shaving the kilos away wherever possible. We’re celebrating that this weekend with Lightspeed, a tribute to the lithe, the agile and the featherweight. We’ve got lightweight heroes Radical, Caterham and Ariel joining us to show how it’s done, too. Everything’s welcome as always, but this is the weekend for you if lightweight is your thing.

I'll be driving from Bristol to Bedford on Sunday, ready for a trackday on Monday, so going via Caffeine and Machine on the way sounds good.

What day and times are people thinking of going? For me Sunday afternoon would work well :tu:
