British Motor Museum/Jaguar Heritage day out - Gaydon

Post by reg » Sun Apr 24, 2022 6:57 pm

Hi All,

Following up on a conversation earlier with others I would like to propose we visit Gayden. The Museum has a lot of cool things, and also houses most of the ex Vauxhall heritage cars which they wanted to sell off. Across the car park is the Jaguar heritage site, which is a real treat tbh. Amongst the toys includes the factory V12 Xj220, load of prototype models.

Anyone keen post up here. We can work on dates as this is open all year.....

I've been there several times over the years, mainly when buying a new car. The first was a V12 convertible XJS in British Racing Green. God knows how long ago.
It'll be interesting to see it today.

Hi. Ok, lets firm up some dates which work for everyone, or as many as possible. I visited the museum today for Jaguar Breakfast thing and they have a few new bits and bobs, it's a brilliant place, the cafe isn't half bad either.

9/10 July
16/17 July

Whatever works. As an aside 'mid summer' today was chuffing freezing and it rained a bit :D
