Slight challenge is secure parking at the Marina as the yard has parked boats next to the club house, and the main carpark is secure, but unmanned.

Update and venue change. Having spoken to my boat club, they are excited to host a session for us. They will lay on an extra boat (with a skipper) so we will have one RIB (6 people) and one Bayliner (8people).
We will depart from Hythe Marina where parking will be provided and head over to Cowes on the Isle of Wight for a spot of lunch before heading back to Hythe.

Plan is to have a little drive down early in the morning from Newbury, aiming to get to the boats for around 9:30am.

Looking at dates 6th July or 8th July or 15th July are options.

So we have 11 spaces available. Let me know if you fancy it and which date you’d prefer.

Date confirmed as Wednesday 6th July.

Plan will be:

7:45 leave from Totts Hill Service Station, Newbury, A34.

09:00 arrive Hythe Marina. Coffee, rest rooms and photos
Boats for lunch in Cowes for 12:00 noon
Arrive in Hythe around 2pm for coffee and carriages.

We have two boats, Montana (RIB) and Hawaii (VR6 Bayliner) so we have space for 12 - partners and +1s welcome.
