South East monthly breakfast meet - 18 August

Less driving, more natter. For when you just want to hookup.

Graeme

I might just tag along on this one but ONLY if I manage to get up early enough to come!

If I come I will be in my UK daily driver!

I am traveling back from Cyprus on the 8th for my niece's wedding - which is being celebrated at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 17th!

So I really don't know whether I will be able to drag myself out of bed (or be in a fit state?) that early the morning after the night before! 8)

If you see me there - so good, if not - then have a great run out!!

Incidentally - just to throw out a suggestion - the new Goodwood Aerodrome cafe has been refurbished and is now open again.

If you have already been to the Circuit cafe a few times maybe you might consider trying the Aerodrome cafe this time to ring the changes?

They also do a good breakfast - although, to be honest, I haven't been to there since it has reopened - the last time I was there I flew in for breakfast.

thanks Paul, yes we could look at that. Its the same car park so we can go to either. Looks like it has a better menu. I can't see exactly where it is on google maps because its not marked being so new. But I assume its just across the track?
I will leave arrangements as they are because it may confuse people. We will use the same car park anyway

Graeme

It's in the airport building along with the flying club etc in the centre of the track - I suspect that it probably has its own parking for members of the flying club.

B****y BA computer system - all the empty seats on the flight I was hoping to catch tomorrow afternoon have all disappeared as everyone has been pushed on by a day!!

Hi Simon. We will decide later this evening. Looks like some early morning rain. Basingstoke meeting point is Texaco garage on Grove road 0800, here

Weather check. Looks clear with low probability of light showers in the area. So let’s GO!
Everyone check here at 0700 in case the forecast changes overnight. I need to get the atom out. It’s been in the garage for 2 weeks.
So see u at Chichester at 0900 tomorrow unless it’s pouring on the route at 0700 tomorrow
