Before Sushi Sunday, White Horse Saturday... April 6th/7th 2013

A friend of mine has taken on as a client The White Horse at Chilgrove next to Goodwood. They are going to start to hold events around the various events at Goodwood on a regular basis.

This place has undergone a total refurbishment, and is just about to reopen its doors. As a special re-opening deal, they have offered Atom owners a free room the night before the next Goodwood Breakfast on April 7th (Sushi Sunday - we're eligible) so you would just have to pay for dinner.

The White Horse is a 1765 former coaching inn and has a long history of excellent cuisine, fine wine and a relaxed environment. The menu features local and organic produce and seasonal specialties, all complimented by a well-established global wine list.

The food isn't cheap (neither is the wine) but it is very, very good. And the rooms would cost at least as much as the food!

Hi Bruce,

I don't think I can do this one due to prior commitment. Sounds excellent though, have looked up The White Horse which looks lovely.

I also assume dog friendly due to the odd photo and walks etc?

I will check with Jane later if we can do it, what a great deal!

That sounds like it would be right up our street Bruce.......unfortunately though we have been recalled to Cyprus at the end of the month to stimulate the economy so will be unable to attend.

Actually the weather hasn't been as bad as I'd expected John.....and the fantastic invention of central heating (not as yet discovered in Cyprus) has been fab!
