Don't know if this is the usually Daily Mail "frog bashing" or not but could be prudent to investigate ....

Mind you it would be prudent to get taxis everywhere judging by last year's trip
Ok so just to check ....
I need to pack/fit high viz vest (within easy reach), warning triangle, GB sticker, spare bulb set, beam deflectors, DIY breathalyser(s), phrase book, block of stilton .....
[/quote]
Looks like we'll just miss it

Re: 24 Heures du Mans 2012 - 16th - 17th June
im not going to make this trip unfortunately, or any other Atom event this year.
1, with the arrival of baby Jessica and my wife on maternity leave it doesn't look like im going to be able to afford to put my Atom on the road this year. im gutted about this but the sacrifice is well worth it. Jessica is absolutely amazing and the Atom will remain in the garage until i can afford to run it again.
2, due to the bloody Olympics, there is a leave embargo from June to September so getting the time off for Le Mans would be extremely difficult. bloody pointless Olympics.
anyway, hope you all have a happy and safe year of Atoming.
hugs n kisses.

I'm bailing too. I want to go with my son and he can't make it (exam).
Enjoy.

Re: 24 Heures du Mans 2012 - 16th - 17th June
Just booked this now with Anne-Marrie and it looks like I'm the only one going so far... I will be camping with the TVR's at this rate so please save me!! I only managed to convince my friend to come by saying there would be a large convoy of Atoms going, where is everyone??
Well I'm going out on the 9am Ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg coming back on the Monday, hopefully I can meet the support van at the ferry. Just need to persuade the better half to drive my beer and tent down for me early in the morning...

Worked out at £332 a person, so slightly cheaper as well... Is everyone going for the meal option?

I sent them my booking details by email and gave my contact number just as I did last year and will let them ring me for my payment etc.
I did get an out of office reply this morning though so will see when I get a call back.

Been onto Anne-marie for booking, etc.....she says the return ferry is full, :doh:so had 2 book caen to Pompey instead. If anyone else needs to book, she said GET IT DONE, 'cos the ferry is filling up faster than the campsite.
Good luck Le Mans'ers !
