Hi all - getting really close to this now, should be fun!!!

I'm missing a few stragglers on the payment and meal choice side of things; can you organise that for me please?  You know who you are i'm sure  ;D

If anyone can't come/isn't coming that said they were going to can you also let me know ASAP urgent as we need to make a decision on which room we want - we're right on the borderline of needing the bigger room.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Tom

Thanks everyone - we're now pretty much sorted for payments and meal choices.

The only stragglers are as follows:

Bruce - waiting for payment and meal choices
John H (I know he's on holiday at the moment) - waiting for payment and meal choices
Atom120 and Hollypop - waiting for payment and meal choices
Oi Oi Treacle and party - waiting for meal choices

I've e-mailed you all separately but if you could get those over to me ASAP that would be great.....

We have 48 people which is exactly the capacity of the smaller of the 2 rooms so has worked out absolutely perfect!!  If there is anyone else waiting in the wings who hasn't put their name down I will need to know this week so that we can confirm whether or not we need the larger room...........so really on Monday morning we will have to have a cut-off and say we can't take anyone else.

I will announce by the end of next week where we're planning to meet for pre-dinner drinks; there are a few options on that.  Of course if anyone has any preferences or ideas as to where they think would be good to meet - discuss!

Looking forward to it!  :tu:

Hotel booked (The Grand Trafalgar Square)

As a tip book via Hotels.com and choose 'club rooms at trafalgar square' or something like that and it is cheaper for the same hotel.

After 14,000 posts from Bruce, even subconsciously, it's hard not to be conditioned !  ;)

I checked posts from previous christmas bashes and some run to 10 pages on the subject (2008) ..

Not having been to one before, I have no experience, but it seems that dress code might go to type  >:D

My pea sized brain can't work out if that means you all walk around naked at your club or not  ;D

Here's a clue though - I wouldn't advise anyone to rock up in their birthday suit!   Dress is as smart as you like but minimum of smart casual - we wanted the whole job to be less formal than previous years.

The thought of Bruce & his club mates walking around in the buff frightens the life out of me!
