Anyone fancy a blat to Cheddar Gorge?  I'll be leaving my house in Newbury with Rob McPherson at around 7:30am.

Let me know if you're up for it, or meeting there?  Will try and select some good roads!!!

I'll be there, spur of the moment decision earlier today :)

The best road is the B3135 all the way from the A37 -  it really is a fantastic Atom road! I'll make my way straight down from Bristol though. From Newbury, the A4 is a fantastic road (especially at that time of the morning) as far as Calne, but there's no obvious route to link the two...

Oh yeah and the day job involves 2x 2250bhp V16 quad-turbo MTU diesels! :)

BTW beware of the several families of goats who live in this road (yes I do mean in the road - usually right in the middle of the carriageway!) between the top end of the gorge and the first junction!

Why can I not find this on Pistonheads? There seems to be a page about a meet in 2009 but not tomorrow.

Great to meet Cirrus and BenL - both their cars much more shiny than mine!!

A huge turnout too - and a wide range of vehicles.... Photos later :)

Shame the Gorge carparks were in the shade though!
