In discussion with Richard, it was felt that eight was a manageable number for a morning's workshop to balance the maxiumum numbers with the maximum benefit and the maximum attention. People are going to want to see close up what's happening as well as asking questions. A lot of people will probably require repetition, thus halving the amount of information that can be communicated on the day. Otherwise, why stop at a dozen?

Don't worry. If it's a success we'll be doing more, and on the next one you can find out what various bits of your race car are called, too, John!

I think it's unlikely that a video made on the day would be useful, as there'll be lots of closeup stuff that would need doing two or three times to make a practical video (and I don't think that's a one morning job!) plus there'll be masses of editing, voiceovers and stuff to do afterwards. It'll be labour of love, or lots of cash. Also, part of the reason that the day is gratis is that Richard hopes to generate business from it - which is fair enough - you don't get owt for nowt, as they say in Camden. So a video would be self-defeating

However, I have just heard some interesting news - there may be a special guest or two on the day... plus the opportunity to carry out upgrades - not promising anything, but there's a whisper...

Given this new info, I'll 'revisit' the numbers question with Richard...

I think we should take bets on the actual BHP of Ben's 120.

140+ is my guess..
