CarFest South 2014 - Laverstoke Park Farm 22nd - 24th August

Less driving, more natter. For when you just want to hookup.

Chaps, I've just been let down on the gazebo for the weekend so if anyone has one they want to bring that would be useful.

All,
I'm not sure how this works with Ariel, but bought tickets for carfest south (Sat) before buying the Atom, but ironically double-booked for tomorrow, so trying to get tickets for Sunday instead.
Is it a case of buying tickets through the organisers then park with the Atom club, or do Ariel get allocated some tickets.
If so, any spare for Sunday?

Thanks

Matt

Just got back and tucked the Atom away. :tu:

We had a quick and un-eventful trip back.... without police speed traps too! :)

I enjoyed the festival, and will certainly consider going again next year. The highlight was definitely driving up the hill climb track.

I'll post some pics up at some point too.

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so friendly and welcoming. You all made myself and my passenger Adam feel very welcome.

Hope to meet you all again soon.

Cheers
Peter

Great to meet you Peter and the other peeps too. Had a cracking weekend and the highlight was definitely the hill climb. I'm already staking my claim to a place next year! ha ha.

Have fun boys, catch you all soon.

PS. super_fandango, sorry mate but it's all a bit difficult when you're already stuck in the middle of a field! Hopefully next year. Some pics to follow.

That was fun, good to meet all of you.

Did you manage to escape at a reasonable time? I do feel a little guilty at bypassing the army truck to get out.

I'd also be grateful if someone could make the weather a little warmer for next year.

What a fab weekend.

I love that event - such a friendly safe family atmosphere - my four year old enjoyed it every bit as much as myself and the wife did.  That says a lot.

Shame about the 700bhp Oshkosh HET parked across the exit until 7PM - still, didn't make much difference to my return journey - it remarkably remained dry all the way.

Thanks to Tom again for organising this.  We are definitely in next year - hopefully with the new 3.5R to show instead!

:-)

P.
