Car Show at Stanborough Park - Sunday 19th May 2013

We have been contacted by the organisers of this show at Stanborough Park, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL8 6DQ, which will be held on Sunday 19th May 2013.

The show is being held in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation Charity and they would like participants to show their vehicles. The show will be free entry to show vehicles and passengers, general public will have to pay an entry fee. It should be a fun and lively day for all the family as there will be live music, children's rides, catering facilities, local radio station broadcasts, stalls selling different products and an award ceremony for the Best in Show vehicle.

I'll be there although almost definitely not in my new Atom as I don't think it will be ready by then (still in final build)......although it will be ready for the Atom Club Le Mans trip in June

It's today and the sun is shining !

Only £5 to get in - Lots of tasty supercars to see - Fun events for all the family too ..

It didn't rain and was warm and bright/sunny most of the time.
Lots of different machinery ranging from Aston Martins, Maseratis, Ferraris, Porsches to customised Hot Rods and cars which had more Power amplifiers and Speakers than you could wish for!

They had a "rent-a- Stig" - I tried to talk to him but he just stared ..

I was looking out for John (HIEWYJ) - Repsol colour-schemed Atom in build - and spotted this number plate, so guessed it was his Spider 355 which was parked alongside a 458.

It was good to meet you John - Not long till pick up now !

Later, we were joined by Jayson - JLATTI - in his white 3-245, his other half and children travelled in the white Honda with matching plates.

I have very recently got my Atom back on the road after 18 months off due to the arrival of my first baby. Renewed my Atom club membership this week and have now seen that I've just missed this event that was only a few miles from my house. Gutted.
Great to be back on the road again through. Awesome as ever !
