New Atom 4 owner in Durham

Hi All,
I collected my new Atom 4 from the factory earlier this month. I live just outside of Durham…”up north”. Wondering whether there are other local owners who might be interested in meeting / sharing information and advice / being generally enthusiastic and excited about our Atoms?

I will be up in Durham in late September (Taking son to Uni) so happy to catch up then and talk Atom's. It would be good to find out where the decent roads are around there anyway as I plan to pop up with the Atom at some stage

Funnily enough I will (hopefully) be taking my daughter to Durham Uni too in September. I'd love to take the Atom up to Durham via the North York Moors and then on up to Northumberland. Northumberland is beautiful, relatively unspoiled, and there are lots of fantastic roads. I live in Cornwall and the wife will want to come along when we visit, so unfortunately I'll be using my Tesla instead...

Thanks for the replies guys - it’s already obvious that the Ariel ‘family’ are a very friendly and welcoming bunch of people! Speaking of the Yorkshire Dales my wife has agreed to a trip down to Hawes tomorrow (decent weather forecast- hurrah!) to meet with a couple of friends who are motorhoming down there. She’s gonna hate it!

Glad to hear of another Atom owner "Up North!" we are a rare breed.

I live in East Yorkshire and regularly go for a blast around the North Yorkshire Moors.
Would recommend Blakey Ridge between Castleton and Hutton-Le-Hole, it's one of the
best driving roads in Britain. Probably similar mileage for both of us ( 50miles ) so would be good to meet up.



I also thought my wife would hate it, but she absolutely loves it. Good luck !

Fear not, you are not alone. I'm sure the 'Northern Atom Chapter' Officials will be along shortly to invite you to our whatsapp family. Durham is just about the centre of our little group of 10 so you are perfectly situated. I think a couple of us are at Croft on June 21st too.

We lived in Walkington near Beverley for a while Andy, so know the area quite well…
It would be great to be a part of your ‘northern’ group Aidan. We are motorhoming in Scotland in June so won’t be around for Croft unfortunately but do please invite me to your WhatsApp family
…and hey my other half was fine with the trip to the Yorkshire Dales yesterday. Just a steady drive out - what’s the point of putting people off!

Hi John very nice Atom I believe we spoke on facebook may I just ask with you being distant to Ariel factory like me do you plan on driving down to the factory for first service or any upgrades you may do or have you someone trustworthy to work on car same goes for anyone else who may be distant to the south?
