Unable to edit my posts

Is it just me? [mention]Karl V[/mention] suggested that there is a 'window' of 90 minutes in which posts or replys can be edited by the OP. However I don't get the edit symbol to click even after just 3 minutes!

Also, why is there a limited edit widow at all?

Right, I think we are done - what a ball ache!

Seems that permissions (post system updates) now have to be set Sub Forum by Sub Forum / Group by Group, plus special non-permissions for bots and nasties.

I hope this is resolved now.

All Registered users should be able to EDIT or DELETE their own posts, up to 90 minutes after posting.

It doesn't make sense to edit / delete posts from further back when conversations have started. 90 minutes should be enough to spot a typo or have that Doh! moment.

Just a thought.... would be nice to be able to update (my) wanted for items I've managed to acquire, any chance of the wanted for sale section having the option beyond 90 mins?

That's a great idea.

As I discovered at length this morning, we can control which Forums can and can't be edited by the OP, but the edit window is system wide unfortunately

Let me have a think though...
