Re: Car storage
Speak to Tom or Henry, they may be able to look after it for you for a reasonable fee?

Re: Car storage
I asked them, they won’t.
There a few in the Bristol area like these guys: https://www.premiervehiclestorage.co.uk/services/. I don’t know anything about them, though.

Since you are shipping your Atom back from Hong Kong to be serviced I would think that Tom/Henry might be more amenable re storage than for a UK based car?
It's certainly worthwhile asking the question in my opinion!

Re: Car storage
I don’t believe Ariel offer storage. They collected and delivered my car for the last service. It wasn’t silly money.
Close to where I like is DK Engineering, they will take it in for storage.
They are brilliant and it will be very safe.
How long do you want to store it for?

Re: Car storage
I have used www.originsclassics.com near Avebury in Wiltshire.
£100/month.
They are safe and reliable, but 1.5hrs from Crewkerne.

Atom 4, Clio v6, & some other cars obviously.
Re: Car storage
Find a secure car park and park under an Ariel car cover. Wait three months or whatever, drive another car in and drive the Ariel out with the 1 hour old ticket. Go back and tell them you've lost the ticket for thqe car you've just driven in. They'll charge you for the whole day (sorry sir, never mind etc). Hey presto, 3 months parking for the cost of one day!
Beautiful 2000 XJR, last ever supercharged Atom, Fiesta Active, 'Verstappen' Honda e, Focus, Jaguar iPace, Volcano Yellow, MSO Black Pack 720S Spider.
Re: Car storage
I extremely rarely leave my Atom in a carpark overnight. Any longer is asking for trouble IMO. Even if the carpark is "secure".
I would also suggest you confirm the insurance implications. Most policies have restrictions on where the car is stored overnight.
A specialist place (as I provided) has their own insurance, and they will also charge the car for you as the battery will go flat over a month if not driven or charged.

Re: Car storage
Kelvin,
I'm not sure if it's of any use but my Company has a secure warehouse that is less than 25 miles from the Factory. We can create some room for you and put the car on trickle charger (assuming you have one?) It could be stored until September at a push. Assuming you can sort out some storage insurance, we could do it for £120 per month?
I do have a covered trailer and am happy to collect your car from the Factory for you for £100 if that's something you need. Also, I can start the car up each few weeks if that would be helpful?
Cheers,
Stu

If you are looking for any laid up cover/storage cover, then Classicline has specialist policies just for that. 01455 639000kelvin12382003 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 6:14 amThank you Stu.wasp wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 6:14 pm Kelvin,

Re: Car storage
I have cars professionally stored in a couple of places... Why does it have to be close to the factory?

I am planning to sell the car, so I thought it might be a good idea to find one near the factoryBruce Fielding wrote:I have cars professionally stored in a couple of places... Why does it have to be close to the factory?
