There was a good few of us today.

No disasters.

With regards to speed, Bill and I had several blast along the big straight, and there’s nothing in it. Bill speedo was reading 150mph.

Darren was their too, with his slicks and Sadev

Amazing weather, just superb day!!!

Ignoring those running slicks, who was quickest on track?

I didn’t see or go near Darren’s car, but Bill and I had a good few laps together.

It’s my second track day, so I don’t have much track experience, and Bill is still learning the 4. I could stay with him all ok.

Nice to an original atom 1 there today representing 😎 . (Pearl red panels carbon rear wing and some side pods for good measure) I wasn't driving just in there picking some bits up. Heard the supercharger screaming from miles out.

Yeh Bill and I got warned for Noise!! I was black flagged for it!! When we were both on it for several laps, the noise levels went up.

The 4 has a deep rumble note from behind, I couldn’t hear the Turbo noises though.

The 4 does look so good. It’s such a different car, the more you stare at it the more you see how so different they are.

Looks awesome in Miami Blue

The noise meter (that usually catches you) is just before the s and after hairpin where you enter the track. Normally I'm in third revving the bollocks off it

I've triggered it several times in the past, so I just keep to the right, away from the noise meter and short shift to fourth

Bill, big thanks for bailing me out with the fuel!! My fuel gauge showed 19, then 4, then 0, flashing red light etc etc . I then assumed I could refuel at 430pm on site, but they had closed the pumps!

Let me know how Snetterton goes today, in the damp conditions!

I will be interesting to see the lap times on the 4. As I mentioned, I could tail Bill, it helps he knows the circuit well, so it made my life easier.

The way the two cars went along the straight side by side, up to 152mph (Bills Speedo), you’d never believe the two cars engine delivery were completely different.

I think his car was better set up than mine. I changed my settings to the factory dry race set up. However I was getting a lot of understeer, which I wasn’t getting at Castle Combe.

Tyres were running 27psi, so I didn’t really know what to tweak. Any pointers would be appreciated. I do have my CC settings, from which were set from the previous owner, but the numbers were quite extreme.

Bill was running a fair bit of camber, especially on the rear wheels. I’ve not even thought about that yet.
