The old experience cars used to have extras like traction control fitted... These might have things added that you may not expect...

Possibly and I am not saying they were not well serviced and got anything they needed but a bit like ex police cars they will have had a hard life.

I'd LOVE to know what they sell for. Can you check that after the auction date?

Damn! 20-22k for any one of them. In the US they'd bring twice that. (shakes head in disgust).

Frank

Most of these are 'Experience' day cars that people can buy a session on track - all sorts of odds and sods can pitch up and drive!

They are also the most basic spec available and I don't see anything about being supercharged so are most likely 245s?

You will notice that the mileage is 'not warranted' so, while a mileage is quoted there is no guarantee it's correct also most of them don't have lights or items required for legal road use and will have no MOT (road fitness certificate).

By the time any one of these has been checked over (preferably by the Ariel factory) and been upgraded for road use the costs would be up to around a 'nornal' used price.

Finally these Atoms will have had a very hard life on track - hopefully they will have been well maintained but I , personally, wouldn't trust my life to one of these without having the Ariel factory going through it with a fine tooth comb first!

Presumably there's the auctioneers fees to add as well.

Yes £600+ unless you are a big buyer from them and have one of the good memberships
