Nice shots....
Unusual spots for the lights. Quite like them. They clean the lines up along the side, too  :tu:

it´s the swedish authority tell us to move the light to the front.  :police:

I´m little frustated about the topspeed, is it normal to only reach 120 mph? is it possible to reach about 140mph, which adjustment do i need to do. ??

The car is a AA 2 245hk :tu: :tu:

No way I think a 245 could hit that speed, the Atom just isn't aerodynamic enough from what other people have reported. The 300 is in that neck of the woods. So more horsepower looks to be in your future.

The Atom will get to over 100 very quickly. Once it hits about 120-130, it really slows in acceleration. Still, with a 245 you should be able to pull 130-135 on a long enough section of road/track.

I just ran head to head races on an airport runway of 2.5 milles. We used a 1 mile section to "race' each other. We ran rolling starts as the airport was very strict on having no burnout skid marks. Rolling from 30 MPH to max speed was interesting. My Atom was pretty much unbeatable to 100MPH. At 130 the car's acceleration slows dramatically. It took less than 1/4 mile to reach 130 (My car does the standing start 1/4mile now in just under 10 at 132MPH) and it took over a 1/2 mile to go from 135 ish to 165 ish which is the rev limiter in 6th.  Thats when a Ferrari 430 passes you
My car had well over 400WHP that day.

There's all sorts of stuff you can do to go faster if you want. Going down the "more power" route is one way. A 300 Atom can pull 140 much easier but still hit's that aero wall and needs a bit of a run to reach it.

Maybe remove your lights for a couple top end mph?
Both my 300's have been aero limited to about 138-140

You should be able to clear 130 in a 245 fairly easier.  On the long straight at Bedford in my mere 120 I have seen 120mph +  But acceleration rapidly drops off at speeds above 100 ish

Nice headllights.  I can get to about 130 in my 220, but it's hard work to get the last 15mph out of the car.

Mine's a 2006 Atom 2 245 so you probably just need some wings to make you fly.  ;)

Dear all,

A is for Alec
A is for Atom
A is for Awesome
A is for Aintree

Simon had one 9 lap session and I had 2. Yowza!

Alec managed 138mph on the home straight with Sy, but only 134mph with yours truly. . . . . .

Who needs bloody therapies when you've been in an Atom.
