My Atom will be the second wich is registered in Austria but it isnt right now.
I did "run in" the car at the Track......warm it up push it hard....

Has you been in contact with Seffen Queck in Zwickau (who is also the official Dealer For Austria) before you ordered the car direct from the factory?
He left a very bad impression, when I contacted him the first time a year ago, on me. Maybe it was my fault

we speak both english so we can write in english no Problem.

Ich war auch 2007  bei Ariel gewesen. Sehr nette Gegend dort. Es gibt also auch schöne Ecken in England  . Hatte dort mit Simon und Tom gesprochen die beide sehr nett und hilfsbereit waren. Unsere Autos haben wir dann über Belgien bestellt (Atom 3 300PS). Die stehen jetzt in Belgien und müssen abgeholt werden. Steffen Queck, das ist der Händler für Deutschland, bekommt die Dinger Strassenzugelassen. Nachdem wir nicht bei ihm kaufen wollten müssen wir uns jetzt selber darum kümmern. Ich suche noch nach dem schnellsten und einfachsten (kostengünstigsten) Weg dafür. Werden und sicher mal auf der Rennstrecke begegnen. Wir sind viel in Hockenheim, Nürburgring und Spa unterwegs. Meistens bei Versanstaltungen vom Pistenclub (www.pistenclub.de).

Am besten suchst Du Dir einen T�V Prüfer, der häufig auch mit Motorsportfahrzeugen zu tun hat. Die stehen grundsätzlich auch vor den gleichen Problemen. Jedes Rallyfahrzeug hat eine Stra�enzulassung. Und das trotz Zelle, nicht verstellbarer Vollschale mit Ohren, Waagebalkenbremse und abnehmbarem Lenkrad. Eine E-OBD Buchse wird man in einem Rally Fahrzeug auch eher weniger vorfinden.
Die gro�en Tuner haben meist auch jemand an der Hand, der die Härtefälle bearbeitet.

Ich werde dann mal einen Rundruf starten. Irgendwie kriegen wir das Ding schon zugelassen.
Ein Kopie vom KFZ Brief eines zugelassenen Fahrzeugs wäre aber sicherlich hilfreich.

The first one in Austria will probably have been Klaus (1st Austrian Atom 2 [Klaus]) who bought his Atom direct from the factory.

This was back in July 2007, which is when I met up with him along with Tobias (dreamscape) who went along for the ride to see an Atom in person.

He was obviously impressed as he has now finally bought one and I assume he will have researched how to register it in Germany.

I was going to say that I'd drop him an email as he hadn't been on the forum for a couple of weeks but I've just noticed he posted a reply as I was typing this out.  ::)

Ich war heute auf der Zulassungsstelle wg. dem gleichen Anliegen. In ein paar Tagen wei� ich mehr, aber Grundsätzlich sollte einer Zulassungs nichts im Weg stehen.
Im übrigen habe ich Herrn Queck als sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit kennengelernt! Hätte ich mir einen neuen Atom gekauft, wäre das sicher über Ihn gelaufen.
Mein Atom II 300 ist noch in der factory beim Umbau, nach der Zulassung kann ich Dir aber gerne eine Briefkopie zukommen lassen. Falls Du in der Zwischenzeit aber selber die Zulassung bekommst oder anderweitig fündig werden solltest, würde ich mich über eine Zusendung freuen.

Es ist geschafft. Unsere Autos sind in Deutschland angemeldet. 
Falls jemand eine Strassenzulassung für seinen Atom in Deutschland braucht, dann kann er mich gerne kontaktieren. Ich kenne jetzt die richtigen Leute die man dafür braucht
