I thought the whole motivation for moving was to avoid Germans with Elises

Congratualtoins on establishing this forum. A gret idea.
USA Road trip:  I plan to visit newly minted USA Manufacturer Craig Bramscher and will (with his permission) post a few photos of the facilties.
It's about 450 miles. Seattle WA to Ashland OR, one way. Solo, as my wife will be off in Canada for a few days. I've only done 685 miles in #2 but have fresh oil and scrubbed in tyres. Rob

It just occured to me that this thread title might be misinterpreted as a slur on johnny Foreigner... The 'greasy' in the title refered to the fact that this thread started in engineering, but was moved here as it seemed the subject had become international
