Buying in dollars and jumping the queue.

Simple really is it better to buy in dollars, what's the waiting time for an American Atom and whats the air freight cost?  It's got to be worth it just to get them to make a left hand drive one for the UK with a yank engine in it.  ;D  ;D  (Or keep it a right hooker and use it for the trips to Spa and the ring  :D  :D )

I think you have that the wrong way round...  ;D

And the US Atom uses an engine that there is no support for in the UK, and different parts, and a different chassis, and won't be supported by the UK factory... But apart form that, why not?

Apparently they lent us some money in 1941 which we've just finished paying back...

Yeah, thats true. Thats like us having the K20A-r it would be very difficult to get services here, and parts would be 5x more than our domestic motor we are using now.
I don't see Brammo cranking out more than 15 by the end of the year. In fact if they did I would eat my own arse. :)

OK, so why the bits of cardboard? Do the hot sticky tyres stain the nice painted floor?

Lol, I have exactly the same problem myself.  Nice new painted garage floor - first time I park the Atom on it and it pulls 4 patches of paint of the floor.

Bugger!

Very droll chaps. The reverse is my problem.  Can you see?
The paint was drawing plasticiser from the tyres.
See the imprint just closer to the camera than the c\b patches?
Now THAT can't be good can it? Hence the cardboard.
I use the sack that the helmet came in to keep the steering wheel warm too.

Do you treat your wife/partner/girlfriend with such loving care - maybe all three?

Pretty good, as long as one of them isn't mine!
