I found this on the Davida motorcycle gear local agent's web site. A collection of photos from local motorcycle roads. The web page is setup like a small TV and you select the channel to see a presentation of slides.

Nice roads, it's just a pity that they aren't 'local' to Davida as they are just through the Mersey Tunnel from me.

The Wirral does have some nice roads but not quite in the same league as NZ.

Now that is a road I'd like to drive - whats its name and remind if I can use it on a drive from the UK to Italy?

Yep....awesome road.  :tu:

It reminds me of the Italian Job...the first one with the bus full of bullion at the end.

That looks superb. Where is it ?  I am booking the ferry now....

It looks even better than Scotland (i.e.  it's not raining). And being in Europe (presumably) you can drive as fast as you like and just pay the fines...... allegedly.

I think its called the ???? pass or something and is somewhere from the alps towards italy - i think.  Had been used in various EVO roads tests from memory

Its the stelvio pass (or the silfser hoch if you're German).  You could quite happily integrate it into a trip down to Italy.

During the summer there are often lots of cyclists on it (which could include me) so take it a bit easy round the blind corners for my/their sake!

Now as a cyclist, my preference would be to go down, not up, down  ;D

Must be an Irish road! I mean anyone else would just go across in a straight line :)

That's another picture of the same road up to Stilfser Joch. It actually shows how long the drive really is. Its a total of 48 corners.

Can anyone pin it down on a map? Next year's Nurburgring trip could get extended to include a few extra miles (!) and a visit here.
