Hello From Hong Kong
Re: Hello From Hong Kong
I'm a bit ignorant on things like these.... How do I verify which ecu I have for an US AA3 300? The Kpro you referred to, is that the type of ecu in all AA3? Are there tuners among us from whom I can get a diff tune for the Atom?
thx

There should be a sticker on the ecu.
There are a lot of tuners for K20/Kpro but to find the right one is not so easy.

Probably on the more expensive side but if the ECM is acessible (behind firewall?) then another ecu loaded with your emissions testing map - would it be possible to swap ECM's for the test (like cat/bypass pipe swapping here in UK)
Should only be a few plugs and bolts. 2 same ECM's but both have different maps?
Could the engine be tuned enough cold to pass the test also?
I'm Probably making more questions than answering them but just thinking out loud.

Re: Hello From Hong Kong
I get his point about the seat, but was his actually bolted in properly, ie. bolts tight? I don't usually push my car that hard, but I don't recall the seat ever moving anywhere near that much!
