Second hand prices - need advice
Looking to sell my 2018 Nomad. Unfortunatly I came as close to loosing a leg in 2015 as I want to get and the injury is starting to catch up with me now to the point where I need an automatic soon. .
The spec is:
Standard Nomad with road kit.
Raised Air Intake
Oil cooler system
Cat Bypass Pipe
Alcon 4 Pot Caliper/290 Disc Front
Alcon 4 Pot Caliper/290 Disc Rear
Mechanical Handbrake system for rear Alcon 4 Pot Caliper brakes
Cockpit Adjustable Remote Brake Bias
Spring and Damper Protection Bag x4
Quick Release Steering Wheel
Side Panels
Sabelt 3" 6 Point FIA Seat Belts/Harnesses with pads (Both sides)
Stainless Steel Fixings
Full Heated Front Windscreen including Washers and Wipers
High-Level Brake Light
Locking Fuel Cap
12v. Auxillary feed with Cigarette Lighter Type Socket
Passenger + clutch footrest
Ambidextrous Chassis
Battery Optimiser/Trickle Charger
Fabric Cabin Cover
Front Winch Bumper (includes Front Tow Eye and Radiator Guard)
WARN Winch Assembly
Rear Bumper (includes 2 x Rear Tow Eye)
LED Whip/Marker Light
Milage is 5.1k
Serviced at 500 miles and Last October just before Winter 'layup' due to foul weather and lockdown etc.
Condition is Immaculate (I really cared for it and people often ask 'Is it new?').
Just MOT'd (a week ago)
Ascertaining the market is a nightmare. Some opinions would be welcome.

Re: Second hand prices - need advice
Id suggest starting with the price list and work out what it would be new.
Then assuming everything is working ok, knock a few thousand for the mileage/age.
By all means have a look at other recently sold and for sale Nomads and see if that puts you at a similar place and adjust as needed.
Good luck.

Re: Second hand prices - need advice
Cheers Phil,
That's kind of where I am starting. The car is MINT so no issues down pricing for damage etc.
I even got all the cage and suspension stone chip guarded.
Has anyone got the current price list Excel document they can PM me?
Mine is from 2017 (although using that as a guide might be the best way forward given that I have to deduct something for it being S/H)

Ariel don’t change their price list very often so I’d use your 2017 one.
Ariel when selling charge 8% and require you to pay for a service as well… that’s after they’ve worked out the price like you’re going to, so gives you an idea as to how much to knock of for miles and age.

Roger that.

Noticed there were three on Autotrader. Might give you an ideas where to pitch it.

Re: Second hand prices - need advice
Wow, those on Autotrader seem high prices. Good specs but still. Might pitch mine a little higher to 'the public', especially considering at that point I will probably have to deal with some total time wasters / test pilots!
Re: Second hand prices - need advice
Like all second hand car prices at the moment, the prices for Ariel 's products seem to be on the increase, even more so for those that have been carefully looked after with factory history.
