5555 MILE Review

I will start a thread on the semi-active suspension when I have a bit time. There are a few things that are yet to be sorted, so I am keen to get those sorted before I can wholeheartedly recommend it to other owners. I will be happy to share my experience to date.

I went for the Tractive R-Ace system from RaceShocks.UK. Apparently it is the first system of its type on a Nomad so we have been slowly feeling our way trying different things, e.g. keeping the original Eibach springs to start with and then swapping them out when comfortable with what they should be replaced with. Progress has been slow mainly due to the limited amount of time I have had to 'play' with things - particularly over the last year! The remaining issues are around ride height and damper settings, particularly at the front.

Semi-active suspension on a Nomad would be trick. Please find time to post your thoughts on this asap :-)
